Hope Reins is a ministry for children and horses … but at
its core it is a family. We are simply a group of people
who choose to serve the Lord, love children, horses, and
each other, and to give our time to these passions.
Whether our "family members" are staff, volunteers,
parents, visitors, children, or even horses, each one is
significant and cherished. Come help us each Saturday for
farm chores starting at 8:30AM.
If you would like to come and join this family by becoming
a Hope Reins volunteer, please contact Katie Powers,
volunteer coordinator, at Katie@hopereinsraleigh.org,
or complete
our online volunteer application here.
The following is a list of the most urgent volunteer
positions needed. Please note many volunteer positions
require special training that may take 4 to 8 weeks to
complete.
Greeters: Warmly welcomes everyone who
walks up our driveway. Offers direction to newcomers,
ensure release forms have been completed and spend time
talking with visitors.
Listeners: Person sensitive and open to
seek out those who really need to talk – child, parent or
siblings
Leaders: Works directly with child and
horse during sessions.
Play Pals: This playful volunteer will
serve by simply playing with the kids! Playing on the
swings, games on the lawn or your own ideas of crazy games
for our young friends.
